My name is Megan Starr and I am the owner/breeder of RockCreek Labradors. I am home schooled and have taken the opportunity to start my own buisness doing something I love - spending time with my dogs. Because I have a flexible school schedule, it allows me to spend a lot of time with the dogs, exercising them and loving on them. This makes for great dogs who are well-adjusted, super friendly and who want to please.

REST IN PEACE
I lost my buddy, Chunky, in an accident in the summer of 2007. He was only with me from March - August, but during that time, we became forever friends. Chunky was full of life and was always eager to play fetch. I miss him terribly, but I am so happy that he sired two litters for me before he died. I have kept one of his female pups that has his deep, caramel coloring to add to my girls. Connie is a gorgeous addition to my dams.

Each new litter is born in the whelping room - complete with heated nest. This room is connected by a door to the rest of the kennel.
I have indoor/outdoor runs for 6 dogs, plus a whelping room and office area. There is a large area to the south of the kennel which is fenced in for their play area. I walk them daily, but it's nice to have a safe place for them to romp with each other.

All of my labs and litters are AKC registered to ensure breed integrity. I guarantee hips for 2 years on all of my outgoing puppies and each puppy is fully screened by our Veterinarian before it is placed with its new family.
